I ABANDON MYSELF TO YOU
In the darkness I loose myself.
In Your greatness I give myself.
My heart is chiseled in two,
and my new heart lives only for You.
In the brightness I loose myself.
In Your brightness I find myself.
I pray that You come near
and shatter all my fear.
I abandon myself to You.
Will You make me Your servant true?
I abandon myself to You.
Will You inflame my heart anew?
I'm on my knees before Your Son,
I pray aloud, "Your will be done,
each and every day
in all I do and say."
On the altar I see my King.
I see my Lord, my everything.
He gave Himself for me,
His life to set me free.
I'm on my knees before Your throne.
You are my peace, You are my home.
In You I repose my will
with my answer, "Yes, I will."
I live no longer for myself,
I live only for God Himself
I cry out, "Yes," each day
and abandon myself to His way.
